About the Artist -Big Picture

My journey has led me to embrace the dual roles of an artist and a professional development trainer (15+ years), where I fuse creativity with strategic thinking. Embodying a mission to make a mark both on canvas and on the lives of professionals, my work blends artistic expression with practical skills to facilitate growth and change.  Welcome to The Art Chief, where art is created to speak to your soul. 

As a child, plain white walls inspired me to color - on them - all the time! Fortunately, my mother was smart enough to redirect my love of creating to paper, pencils, paints, and pastels. By college, I studied graphic arts and psychology and leveraged my creative instinct and love of learning into a career in advertising/marketing and strategic messaging. 

At 50, I went back to school to broaden my reach and impact on others by earning a Master’s in Leadership Development. I genuinely love teaching, continue to train professionals, and now I have more time to paint. Life is good! 

You can see that I enjoy working in different styles, techniques and color palettes. I love creating art that brings joy to others. Seeing the recipient’s eyes light up when the painting becomes theirs is so rewarding!
